MANKATO — Mankato West outscored Century 13-0 in overtime as it pushed past the Panthers 63-50 in Big Nine Conference action.
Despite the loss, Century coach Chris Stenzel thought his team made progress.
"We played much better in regulation than we have in the past few games," Stenzel said. "The ladies have been working hard in practice and we saw some positives in the game. We just need to keep working and stay positive."
Century got a strong game from Mallory Cochran, with 17 points, five rebounds, five steals and three assists. Cochran was the only Panthers in double figures in scoring.
