ALBERT LEA — Rochester Century sure didn't play like a team that's sitting near the top of the Big Nine Conference standings. And Albert Lea sure didn't play like a team that's sitting near the bottom.

Good thing for the Panthers was that they got things together just enough to pull out an unexpectedly tough 52-51 win over the Tigers on Thursday.

"(Albert Lea) outplayed us in every facet of the game," Century coach Joe Ohm said. "We can't just walk out on the court and expect to win."
