WINONA — John Marshall continued to show signs of progress, all while dropping another game Friday.
The Rockets fell 57-45 to surging Winona, which is tied for first place in the Big Nine Conference. Winona beat JM by 30 points earlier this season.
"We're playing better defense; that's getting better every game," JM coach Richard Cain. "But we did have some breakdowns. We didn't cover their wings as well as we should have."
