• Century rolled past Austin 7-0, winning all of its matches in straight sets.

NON-CONFERENCE

• Schaeffer Academy continued its sizzling season by beating John Marshall 5-2. Schaeffer won at No. 3 singles (Annie Orvis), No. 1 doubles (Aidan Kluth/Asher Monson), No. 2 doubles (Noah Monson/Adam Rector) and No. 3 doubles (Hudson Zimmerman/Joseph Lash).

• Mayo lost 6-1 to powerhouse Wayzata. The Spartans’ lone win came at No. 1 doubles (Spencer Busch/Caleb Neisen). They won 4-6, 7-6 (10-8 tie-breaker), 7-6 (9-7 tie-breaker).

BASEBALL

THREE RIVERS CONFERENCE

Carson Reeve tossed a three-hitter and Plainview-Elgin-Millville beat Rushford-Peterson 2-0. Reeve fanned seven. R-P pitcher Justin Ruberg was also very good, throwing a four-hitter and allowing no earned run.

SOUTHEAST CONFERENCE

• Spring Grove moved a game over .500 with a 6-5 win over winless Mabel-Canton. Logan Brumm had two hits, including a triple for the Lions. Cayden Tollefsrud had two triple for M-C, and he also struck out 11 batters over 4 2/3 innings.

GOPHER CONFERENCE

Easton Fritcher went 3-for-5 with a double and five RBIs, Ethan Slaathaug was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs and Joey Templ drove in three runs and scored four as Hayfield overwhelmed Bethlehem Academy 21-0. Nolan Klocke (three innings, one hit) and Lucas Hansen (two innings) combined on a one-hit shutout over five innings for the Vikings.

NON-CONFERENCE

Sam Stanley allowed one earned run on two hits over five innings as Lourdes topped Dover-Eyota 7-1. Nolan Jurgenson and Julio Roman both finished 2-for-3 with an RBI for Lourdes while Blake Lehnertz was 2-for-3 for D-E.

Caden Nolte hit a game-winning single in the bottom of the eighth inning as Chatfield beat GMLOK 3-2. Henry Gathje had reached on an error and then stole second base before Nolte drove him in.

SOFTBALL

HIAWATHA VALLEY LEAGUE

Madisyn Collins had two doubles and four RBIs in Pine Island’s 18-0 four-inning win over Kenyon-Wanamingo.

Hannah Gadient and Arianna Thomforde each had three hits in Goodhue’s 5-2 win over Lake City.

• Goodhue had 11 hits compared to just two for Lake City as it won the second game of a doubleheader 11-1 in five innings. Torrie Rehder pitched for Goodhue. Anika Schaefer went 3-for-4 for the Wildcats.

GOPHER CONFERENCE

Maren Forystek hit two doubles and drove in four runs while Bobbie Bruns hit two doubles, scored three runs and had two RBIs as Blooming Prairie outscored Maple River 11-8.

NON-CONFERENCE

Nicole Beckman went 2-for-2 with a triple, three runs scored and three RBIs, Richelle Botcher was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Becca Rostad was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs as Houston rolled past Rushford-Peterson 17-1.

Mariah Henry and Kaylee Peter both had three hits and two RBIs as Plainview-Elgin-Millville defeated Stewartville 13-6. Abigail Scanlan went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Stewartville and Shailee Nagel hit a two-run homer.

GIRLS LACROSSE

BIG NINE CONFERENCE

Katelyn Moe and Kasey Closer each scored a goal for Century during a 5-2 loss to Owatonna.

BOYS LACROSSE

BIG NINE CONFERENCE

Zach Kirsch and Caleb Belting scored six goals each as Owatonna overpowered Century 21-0.

BOYS GOLF

THREE RIVERS CONFERENCE

Owen Davidson shot a 35 and Ryan Nutter carded a 39 as La Crescent beat Lewiston-Altura/Rushford-Peterson 160-178.

GIRLS GOLF

BIG NINE CONFERENCE

• Red Wing’s Ava Bremseth shot a 77, leading the pack in a triangular with John Marshall and Northfield at Mississippi National.

THREE RIVERS CONFERENCE

Alexa Agan carded a 42 as Lewiston-Altura/Rushford-Peterson beat La Crescent 205 to incomplete.
