Max Comfere scored twice and No. 2 seed Century rolled to a 4-0 win over John Marshall.

• The back line of Nick Crockett, Adam McLellan-Cassivi, Noah Bestrom and Alec McBane was stifling and helped No. 3 seed Mayo to a 4-1 win over Northfield.

Garrett Johnson scored two goals and goalie Ryan Anderson made three saves for the shutout as No. 2 Byron blanked No. 7 Albert Lea 4-0.

SECTION 1AAA QUARTERFINALS

• Century got a momentum-changing goal just before halftime by Penelopea Gordon and it helped push the No. 4-seeded Panthers to a 2-1 win over No. 5 seed Mayo.

SECTION 1AA QUARTERFINALS

Olivia Amundson tallied two goals as No. 2 Byron rolled past No. 7 Albert Lea 5-0.

Lillie Sonju tallied three goals and added two assists and Tori Senty made four saves for the shutout as No. 3 Red Wing blanked No. 6 Austin 6-0.

Kaylee Narveson scored all three of Kasson-Mantorville's goals to lift the No. 4 KoMets past No. 5 Waseca 3-2 in double overtime. Narveson forced overtime by scoring the tying goal with just over a minute to play in regulation. She then scored the winning goal with just over a minute left in the second OT.

BIG NINE CONFERENCE

Paige Decker had a huge night at the net for Century with 23 kills while Megan Lund had 47 set assists as the Panthers held off John Marshall 3-1. Lilly Meister led the Rockets with 20 kills and Tiana Stevens dished out 30 set assists.

Madison Meyer had 18 kills while Hannah Hanson collected 15 kills and 24 assists and Jadyn Lester had six kills and 24 set assists as Mayo rallied to nip Northfield 3-2.

HIAWATHA VALLEY LEAGUE

Natalie Bremer had 14 kills as Lake City swept Lourdes 3-0.

Addie Voxland had 11 kills and five ace serves and Rylee Nelson dished out 23 set assists and had five kills as Zumbrota-Mazeppa swept Pine Island 3-0. Paige Yetzer had 20 set assists for the Panthers.

Madison Burr 12 kills and five blocks, Halle Hustad had 11 kills and seven blocks and Jaci Winchell had 37 set assists and five kills as Cannon Falls beat Goodhue 3-0.

THREE RIVERS CONFERENCE

Anna Hennessy had 14 kills, Elise Sommer collected 31 set assists and Madison Oslie flipped up 30 digs as Lewiston-Altura topped La Crescent 3-1.

Abby Bothun 13 kills, Kammry Broadwater had 11 kills and Abby Mensink had28 set assists as Fillmore Central beat Wabasha-Kellogg 3-0.

Mia McGuire had 10 kills and five ace serves, Eva Anderson had 28 set assists, 22 digs, and ace serves and Lauryn Deiger had seven kills and 25 digs as St. Charles topped Planview-Elgin-Millville 3-1.

Alison French had 64 digs to pace Winona Cotter to a 3-2 win over Rushford-Peterson.

Logan Koepke racked up 15 kills and 22 digs and Jovial King had 21 set assists as Caledonia toppled Chatfield 3-1. Peyton Berg had 13 kills and 27 digs for Chatfield, Jaelyn LaPlante had 12 kills and Devann Clemens had 21 set assists.

SOUTHEAST CONFERENCE

Ella Cambern had 18 set assists and four ace serves and Kaci Ruen had eight kills as Lanesboro blanked Schaeffer Academy 3-0.

Addyson McHugh smashed 13 kills and Rache lNormann collected 29 set assists as Spring Grove blanked Houston 3-0.

GOPHER CONFERENCE

Tessa Erlandson had 15 kills and 20 digs and Josi Quam had eight kills and 23 set assists as Kenyon-Wanamingo defeated New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva 3-1.

Abby Hefling had 13 kills and Sierra Larson added 11 as Blooming Prairie defeated United South Central 3-1.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

ALL-CITY MEET

• Century’s Jazzlyn Hanenberger won the All-City Meet with a time of 19:21.9. Her Panthers were also the team champions with a 24-points total. Lourdes’ Anna Peikert finished second in 19:42.8 and Century’s Sophia Trabuco third (20:16.5).

P-E-M JODI RAHMAN INVITATIONAL

• Winona Cotter’s Sonja Semling finished first in the P-E-M/Jodi Rahman Invitational with a 19:41.1 time and teammate Hazel Freyre was third (20:35.4). Lanesboro/Fillmore Central’s Lillyan Kiehne was second (20:17.2). Chatfield won the nine-team meet.

KASSON-MANTORVILLE MEET

• Red Wing’s Nora Hanson won the Kasson-Mantorville Triangular with a clocking of 19:05.9.

AUSTIN INVITATIONAL

• Austin’s Marissa Shute was timed in 19:35.5 to win the seven-team Austin Invitational. Teammate Nadia Vaughn was second in 19:44.4.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

ALL-CITY MEET

• Lourdes’ Kevin Turlington won the Rochester All-City Invitational in 16:36.1. Mayo won the team title, led by runner-up Ryan Gwaltney (16:56.9). Century’s Richard Kariuki placed third (17:08.8), while JM was led by fourth-place finisher Garrett Eick (17:14.0).

P-E-M JODI RAHMAN INVITATIONAL

• Lewiston-Altura/Rushford-Peterson/Houston’s Tyler Rislov helped his team to a first-place finishing by winning the 10-team P-E-M/Jodi Rahman Invitational. He was timed in 16:39.0. Kingsland’s Garrison Hubka was second (16:53.6) and Winona Cotter’s John Fritts third (16:56).

KASSON-MANTORVILLE MEET

• Red Wing’s Aaron Freier finished first in the four-team Kasson-Mantorville Meet. He was clocked in 17:03.2.

AUSTIN INVITATIONAL

• Lake City’s Reese Anderson was timed in 16:22.2 to win the seven-team Austin Invitational. Teammate Eric Anderson was third (17:20.4) and the Tigers won the meet.

GIRLS SWIMMING/DIVING

BIG NINE CONFERENCE

Natalie Boorjian set a Mayo pool record by winning the 100 freestyle in 53.23 to help the host Spartans beat John Marshall 92-85. Boorjian also won the 50 freestyle and was part of a winning relay. Julia Ogren won the 200 and 500 freestyle events for JM and was part of a winning relay.

Emily Garrison won two individual events (100 butterfly, 100 backstroke) and was on two winning relays while Sophia Blixt won the 100 freestyle, the 100 breaststroke and was on one winning relay as Century defeated Winona 91-87. Abby Williams won the 200 IM and was on a winning relay for Winona.
