ST. PAUL — The Rochester Raiders pushed the St. Paul Highland Scots to overtime, but dropped a 7-6 decision in an adapted floor hockey game on Thursday.
Conor Jones had a big game for the Raiders, scoring five goals and adding one assist. Calvin Gerdt scored a goal and had three assists, while Patrick Healy also had one assist.
Freshman Gordon Maass played a solid game in goal, stopping 17 of 24 shots.
The Raiders return to action on Tuesday, when they play at St. Paul Humboldt. Rochester then plays host to Minneapolis South next Thursday at 6 p.m.
