Explain what you enjoy most about your sport and/or athletics in general.

The thing that I enjoy most about athletics in general is our supportive Black Hole, their doing an over the top job this year! I also love gameday, it's fun when everyone is all dressed up and wearing shirts to support one another. The thing I enjoy the most about volleyball is when our team has great intesity on the court, it makes the game nine times more exciting!

What is your most memorable moment as an athlete?

Winning that game point to send our team to State in 2009!! Along with that, was beating Stewartville in the Sub-Section game! :) It was one of our biggest accomplishments, ever!

Tell us about someone who inspires you in sports and why.

My Coach (Jane) Krier, it doesn't matter the game, or what point in that game it is, I can always look at her on the sideline and she'll make a fist, shake it, and give me a big smile as in, "let's go!" She is an extremely positive coach who is always trying to Mow-tivate! :)

What are your plans or goals after graduating from high school?

Attend college, possibly play volleyball there, and get a degree in biology or chemistry. Beyond those four years I'd like to attend medical school and eventually become a pediatrician and begin a family of my own.

What advice do you have for younger athletes?

My advice for my younger sister, Mitaya, and any other younger athletes is to make the most of every single practice, locker room laugh, bus ride, and game because it goes by WAY too fast!!
