The Austin 16-and-under softball team split a doubleheader against Triton on Monday night at the North Todd Park complex.
Triton won the first game of the night at 5-1 over the Austin girls. The second game was a higher scoring affair with Austin posting a 12-9 win to record the split.
McKenna Gleisner did the pitching in both games for Austin and came away with a win and a loss. With the split of the doubleheader, Austin is now 12-11-1 overall on the season.
