The Austin Stars Reichel Foods 11-and-under baseball team recorded first and second-place finishes at their last two tournaments.
The first-place finish was in Stillwater at the St. Croix Classic. The Stars went unbeaten in pool play
and finished off the tournament winning both games in bracket play to capture the title with a perfect 5-0 at the St. Croix Classic.
The second-place finish occurred at the Mankato Royals Classic tournament. The Stars
went 2-0 in pool play and 1-1 in bracket play.

Austin then suffered a close 3-1 loss to a tough Sioux Falls (S.D.) team in the championship game of the tournament.
