Century tallied four first-inning runs, but six errors doomed the Panthers as Owatonna rallied for a 7-5 victory. Three of the Huskies' seven runs were unearned.

"It was a frustrating game because our first two games we had a really tough time throwing strikes and today we had a lot of strikes but the defense really took a step back," Century coach Todd Stellmaker said. "We have to step up defensively when our pitchers are throwing the ball across the plate."

In his first career start, Ryan Ohm allowed just three hits and struck out five in four innings. He allowed five runs but only three were earned.

"Ryan Ohm was very poised and threw very well for his first varsity start," Stellmaker said. "We've played three games and we've improved each game, but still need to put a whole game together offensively, defensively and pitching. This is the second game of the three we've played where we've made at least five errors. You're not going to beat many teams at any level if you're not making the plays defensively."
