Michael Coble had a huge game for Byron as the Bears notched a 64-61 win over Rosemount in the opening round of the Rotary tournament.
Coble, a 6-foot-1 sophomore, scored 32 points, including burying four 3-pointers. Nathan Lillestol had 12 points for Byron.
Byron did an excellent job from the free-throw line, hitting 13 of 17 shots. Rosemount hit just 7-of-14 from there.
Byron moved to 8-3 overall, while Rosemount slipped to 1-9.
