In a game of scoring runs, Owatonna had more of them than Century on Monday as it beat the Panthers 69-58 in Big Nine Conference boys basketball.
Owatonna led by 10 early in the game, but Century then went on an 8-0 run to close the game and narrow the score to 31-29.
Owatonna used a 9-0 run in the second half, though, to help put the game away. Garrett Olson had seven 3-pointers for the Panthers and finished with 23 points. Andrew Stelter added 10 points.
"We just have a hard time with physical play and it showed tonight," Century coach Joe Ohm said.
Brandon Bocanegra had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Sam Schwanberg had 14 points and seven rebounds.

Century is 5-8 in the Big Nine and 8-12. Owatonna is 4-8, 6-12.
