Rushford-Peterson brought an 8-2 record into the Rotary tournament, but is now 8-4 after a second tough game in which R-P appeared overmatched.
This time the opponent was Prior Lake, which took a 38-27 lead into halftime and didn't look back, claiming a 67-37 win. Prior Lake is now 4-7.
R-P had trouble on offense, with Luke Rasmussen leading the team with 11 points, one of just two Trojans to reach double figures. The other was Matt Culhane, with 10.
Prior Lake was led by Brian Sitzmann, who scored 19 points, including three buckets from beyond the three-point arc. Jack Kortes added 17 points for Prior Lake.
