Rochester John Marshall swished a dozen 3-pointers and shot past Faribault to an easy 75-43 win in a Big Nine Conference boys basketball game Saturday afternoon at the JM gym.
John Marshall stretched its winning streak to 10 games and improved to 21-3 overall and 19-1 in the conference with two games remaining. Faribault is 12-12, 9-10 in the Big Nine.
It was JM's second win over Faribault in a month, the earlier one by a 21-point margin.
"I thought we played with a lot of energy today resulting in a good team win," said JM head coach Kirk Thompson. "I really like how we were active on defense and how we moved the ball around the floor on offense."
Senior guard Matthew Hurt and freshman forward Michael Hurt led JM again, each with 19 points. Michael Hurt had nine rebounds and eight assists, and Matthew added five rebounds, five assists, four blocks and four steals.
