KASSON — Rochester John Marshall fell behind early, but battled back and scored four consecutive goals en route to a 6-3 boys hockey victory against Dodge County at Four Seasons Arena on Thursday.
The score was tied 2-2 after the first period, but Alex Lovett and Matt Broman scored in the second period for a 4-2 Rockets lead. Midway through the third, Zack Johnson and Hunter Heightland scored power play goals to seal the victory for JM.
Tanner Keller added a late power-play goal for Dodge County to cap the scoring.
"The guys played well; we won a lot of little battles," JM co-coach Jared Skovbroten said. "We played well as a team. Every individual player did their job well."
Dillon Stevens put Dodge County (12-7-0 overall) up 1-0 just 1:39 into the game. Johnson and Gavin Sandwick each responded for a 2-1 JM lead, but Drew Wohlfiel scored at 13:18 of the period to tie the score at 2-2.

Chad Mundy had two assists for the Wildcats, while Keller, Stevens and Wohlfield had one each.
Each goalie — JM's Bryan King and Dodge County's Dustin Stevens — had 15 saves.
JM (11-9-0) has won eight of its past 11 games. Skovbroten said the Rockets have had more focus since a 2-1 loss to Rochester Mayo on Jan. 15.
"We tried to reset our mindset and make that loss a turning point," he said. "We're playing against some good teams and playing solid hockey."
JM plays at St. Paul Highland Park at 6 p.m. Saturday. Dodge County plays at Waseca at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
