WINONA — Rochester Century earned its second consecutive Big Nine Conference boys hockey victory with a convincing 7-1 win against Winona at Bud King Ice Arena on Thursday.
Century improved to 6-3-0 in the Big Nine and 9-5-2 overall and won for the fourth time in five games.
Winona falls to 3-10-0, 4-15-0.
Jake Roth had a goal and two assists to lead Century and lift Roth over the 100-point mark for his high school career. He now has 101 points in three-plus seasons.
Alex Ney scored twice for Century, while Riese Zmolek, John Schmitz and Mitch Hoover had one goal and one assist apiece. Will Zmolek also had a two-point game, recording a pair of assists.

Sam Batterson also had one goal for the Panthers.
Century plays host to conference-leading Mankato West at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Rochester Recreation Center. It's the only meeting of the season between the teams, which means it's worth four points in the conference standings.
