Century came up with one of its top overall efforts of the year and routed North St. Paul 17-5 Tuesday in boys lacrosse.
The Panthers led 5-1 after the first quarter and 10-3 at halftime.
"The boys played very well as a team," Century coach James Alcorn said. "We shared the ball and had numerous assisted goals. It was great to see the whole team effort on both ends of the field. Our defense played solid and we had excellent leadership from our goaltender as well. We had some excellent individual games from players, but more importantly I am very pleased with the team effort that was put forth."
Jonathan Trachsel had four goals and two assists; and Carter Scrimshaw and Matthew Birkholz each had three goals. Century 17, North St. Paul 5
