LAKEVILLE — The Rochester Mayo boys lacrosse team got its first win of the season under cold and rainy conditions Thursday, beating Lakeville South 11-8 in a non-conference game.
Mayo scored four goals in the first period to gain control. Joe Hagedorn powered the Spartans with five goals and two assists. Adam Gibson had three goals for the Spartans. Lakeville South is 1-1.
Mayo (1-1) returns to Lakeville on Saturday for 3 p.m. game at Lakeville North.
