Eagles score 10 in win over Cotter
WINONA — Jack Convery and Alan Schembri-Wismayer both had a foot in five goals apiece and led Rochester Lourdes to an easy 10-0 win at Winona Cotter on Thursday.
Schembri-Wismayer scored three goals and had two assists, and Convery had three assists and scored twice. Hadi Berbari also scored his first two varsity goals for the Eagles.
Lourdes improved to 4-1, 3-0 in the Hiawatha Valley League.
"We started out quick with four goals in the first eight minutes," said Lourdes coach Tom Kane. "We were able to spread out the playing time and gave substantial time to the backups which I hope pays dividends later."

The Lourdes defense didn't allow a single shot on goalie Will Elder.
Lourdes is ranked No. 6 in Class A and plays at No. 1 ranked Benilde-St. Margaret's at 7 p.m. Saturday. BSM is the defending state champion.
"This will give us an early season matchup that will let us know where we are at," Kane said.
