LAKEVILLE — The defenses took over on Saturday as Rochester Mayo and Lakeville South finished in a 0-0 tie in non-conference boys soccer.
"It was a challenging game for both teams in which solid defenses and goalkeeping dominated at both ends — particularly inside the penalty boxes, leaving room only for long shots to threaten the goal," Mayo coach Charles Abboud said.
Mayo goalie Justin Aldrich had six saves.
Mayo is now 0-1-1 overall.
