Rochester Mayo turned in an excellent game as it rode to a 5-1 boys Big Nine Conference soccer win over Farmington on Saturday.

Rochester Mayo turned in an excellent game as it rode to a 5-1 boys Big Nine Conference soccer win over Farmington on Saturday.

Mayo got off to a blazing start, scoring four goals in the first half for a 4-1 lead.

The Spartans already had a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game. Farmington tied it a couple of minutes later, but Mayo controlled the action after that.

Alex See finished with two goals and an assists. Zach Reeves and Jonny Loera each had a goal and an assists, and Gavin Sparks also scored.

See's final tally was a solo score.

"It was a wonderful game for the Spartans and we had the lion's share of possession and penetration," Mayo coach Charles Abboud said.
