Rochester Century had an advantage in shots but still lost 3-1 to Rosemount in a non-conference boys soccer game Saturday at Century Stadium.
Century lost its second straight and managed just one goal for the second straight game, falling to 2-5-2 overall. The Panthers are 2-2-1 in the Big Nine.
"We played well at the start of both halves," Century coach Hal Houghton said. "It was a tough loss, but we definitely improved over the last game."
Grant Leet Otley scored Century's goal. Nick Coleman played well coming in off the bench for various players, and Mark Tost and Noah Boecker also played well in the midfield, the coach said. Tough loss. 2-5-2 overall.
Century, 2-2-1 is home Tuesday against unbeaten Big Nine rival Northfield (7-0-1, 4-0-0).
