Century continued its dominance at the Section One, Class AA swimming and diving meet Saturday by capturing the team title for the fifth straight season.
The Panthers had 397 points and runner-up Farmington had 322 points. Mayo finished third with 248 points while John Marshall was sixth in the eight-team event with 230 points.
"I think it was the most satisfying to see our team get pumped up," Century senior Chris Freeman said. "We came together and won it (the section title)."
Freeman, who was named swimmer of the meet, and teammate Andrew Grosbach both won two individual events. Freeman won the 200 and 500 freestyle events, setting a meet record of 1:41.41 in the 200. Grosbach repeated as the section champ in both the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke.
Century's Nikita Dolin and Chris Tri also advanced to state in two individual events and the pair joined Freeman, Dennis Draper and John Cima on two state-bound relays teams.
