Northfield scored goal with just three seconds to play, snapping a 2-2 tie, en route to a 3-2 victory over Century in non-conference boys soccer on Saturday.
The host Panthers scored first and then overcame a 2-1 deficit. Benjamin Harney and Jacob Nelson scored for Century. But the Panthers had no time to overcome the final Northfield goal.
Century coach Hal Houghton said the Panthers received an "excellent game from Mikey Allen, Noor Mohamed and Peter Callstrom."
Century falls to 4-4-1 with the loss.
