Rochester Community and Technical College football coach Bill Quistorff announced the signing of 29 players for the 2014 season on Saturday.
Quistorff said the Yellowjackets will have more players, but he had yet to receive their signed letters of intent and did not want to announce their names.
A trio of Rochester Mayo players are among the RCTC recruits. They include linebacker Tommy Fjelsted, tight end Matt Rogers and offensive lineman Johathan Rojas. All three were All-Conference in the Big Nine.
"We were happy to get all three players from Mayo," Quistorff said.
Defensive back Jeremy Richardson of Byron was the only other area player among the 29 players who have currently signed.

"We think we have a strong base (of players) right now," Quistorff said.
Ten of the players hail from Minnesota. Seven players are from Wisconsin, including quarterback Mitchell Marinack, while six are from Flordia. Three players hail from North Miami.
The current crop of players was heavy at cornerback and safety as nine are listed as defensive backs. The class features no running backs, but that is expected to change with the later signings.
RCTC has won the past four state junior college championships and holds the mark with 19 state titles overall. The Yellowjackets have appeared in 17 of the past 18 state championship games.
