What:This is the MCAC state championship game. It marks the sixth time in eight years that RCTC and Central Lakes have met in the title game.
Records:RCTC 7-3; Central Lakes 10-0.
Last game:RCTC beat Dakota College 24-21 in the state semifinals; Central Lakes beat Fergus Falls 35-14.

Last meeting:Central Lakes beat RCTC 41-37 earlier this season. RCTC beat Central Lakes 27-14 in last year's state title game.
Central Lakes notes:The Raiders are ranked No. 6 in the nation. They averaged a state-best 494.4 yards on offense during the regular season and allowed 243.1 yards on defense. It has outscored foes 471-198. QB Jake Faber threw for 2,254 yards with 30 TDs and 13 interceptions during the regular season. Athen Ashton has a team-best 608 yards rushing with 6 TDs while Faber has 176 yards rushing and 5 TDs. Sam Moriarty has 41 catches (10.3 average, 2 TDs), Steve Wroblewski has 38 catches (17.7 average, 9 TDs) and Kieran Johnson has 26 catches (19.3, 11 TDs). Fafa Asante, who kicked for RCTC in 2012, is the placekicker for the Raiders.
RCTC notes:The Yellowjackets are ranked No. 18 in the nation. They averaged 470.0 yards on offense during the regular season while allowing 225.6 yards a game on defense. They have currently outscored foes 446-200. QB Nick Rooney has passed for 3,060 yards with 43 TDs and 12 interceptions. WR Patrick Bolton has caught 62 passes (18.6 average) for 1,157 yards and 20 TDs and Marley Allison has 51 catches (17.5 average) and 12 TDs. RB Virgil Hammond has rushed for 817 yards (5.9 average) and 3 TDs. RCTC received 3 sacks each from Adam Kroning and Chad Jno-Lewis in last week's win. Lewis will have to sit out this week, however, as he was ejected during the win over Dakota College.
