LA CRESCENT — Mason Hofstedt ran wild and that was more than enough to beat La Crescent as the Bombers won 32-0 in Southeast District, Red Subdistrict football Wednesday.
Hofstedt romped for 242 yards on 23 carries. He had a pair of touchdown runs, one on a 22-yard sprint with 19 seconds left in the first half.
Cannon Falls rushed for 363 yards as a team.
The Bombers took advantage of a scattered La Crescent passing attack. Cannon Falls picked off the Lancers five times. La Crescent finished 1-for-20 passing. The Lancers were without quarterback Ty Mallicoat, who had broken his collarbone.
The Lancers were led rushing by Jay Knutson, with 50 yards on 12 carries.
