K-M 22, CANNON FALLS 21

KoMets prevail on 2-point PAT

KASSON — Kasson-Mantorville opted for a two-point conversion for the win and converted in the fourth quarter to edge visiting Cannon Falls 22-21 in a Hiawatha Valley League football game Friday night.

Nate Bauer caught a pass from Jake Hodge for the two-point conversion that gave K-M its final points and the 22-21 lead. The PAT followed a one-yard touchdown run by Hodge. Hodge passed for 108 yards, completing 6 of 14 passes.

K-M erased Cannon Falls' 14-7 lead at halftime. Drew Wohlfiel scored for the KoMets on a 2-yard run in the third quarter and finished with 135 yards rushing on 15 attempts.

The Bombers rushed for 192 yards, led by Nate Zibolski with 84 yards on nine carries, and Spencer O'Reilly with 80 on 12. They also accounted for all three Cannon Falls touchdowns.
