LA CRESCENT — Jake Panten had 12 carries for 168 and two touchdowns as La Crescent rolled past Pine Island 38-10 in Hiawatha Valley League football on Friday.
Panten scored on runs of 3 and 41 yards.
Levi Nassnan was 18-for-31 for 155 yards passing with two touchdowns and one interception for the Lancers. Zach Melbostad caught a 24-yard TD pass and Graham Eddy had a 5-yard TD reception. Melbostad had five catches for 63 yards.
La Crescent (2-1, 1-1 HVL) had 452 total yards, including 297 rushing and 155 passing.
Pine Island (0-3, 0-2 HVL) had 67 yards rushing and 171 passing for 278 total yards. Jared Lohmeyer was 5-for-14, 108 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Ben Warneke had an 84-yard TD reception and finished with three catches for 141 yards.
