WABASHA — Sheldon Knutson scored five touchdowns as Lewiston-Altura defeated Wabasha-Kellogg 45-7 in Three Rivers Conference football Friday night.
The senior running back found the end zone on runs of 46, 22, 15, 14 and 11 yards. He finished the night with 133 yards on 11 carries.
The other touchdowns for the Cardinals were by Jay Sommers on a fumble recovery in the end zone and Connor Tapp on a 64-yard interception return.
Jackson Riebel added 79 yards on 11 carries for L-A, which improves to 7-0. The Cards rushed for 318 yards and passed for 21.
Wabasha-Kellogg had 105 yards on the ground, led by Austin Baab (13 carries for 98 yards), and 72 passing.
