LEWISTON — Lewiston-Altura scored four touchdowns in the first quarter and rolled to a 53-8 win over Kingsland to end the regular season unbeaten at 8-0.
L-A rolled up nearly 400 yards in offense and 10 running backs combined for 230 on the ground. Bradley Miller had 62 yards on four carries including a 46-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
The Cardinals also passed the ball effectively as quarterback Peyton Schumacher was 9-of-12 for 158 yards and a pair of touchdown strikes that covered 12 and 21 yars. He also rushed in a touchdown from 13 yards.
Kingsland (0-8) had 143 yards in offense. Quarterback Quinn Larson was 3-of-12 passing for 66 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Reece Eickhoff was busy with 24 carries for 33 yards.
