Spring Grove 32, Lanesboro 22
LANESBORO — Spring Grove scored three touchdowns in the last 1 1/2 quarters and came from behind to beat Lanesboro 32-22 in a Southeast Conference football game Friday night.
Spring Grove used a 99-yard touchdown drive to spark the comeback and erased Lanesboro's 22-8 lead midway through the third quarter.
A pair of 100-yard rushers led the Lions. Josh Olerud was a workhorse with 28 carries for 144 yards and two touchdown runs. Caleb Happel had 120 yards on 12 attempts and also scored twice. Spring Grove had 277 yards rushing and 86 passing, with Blaine Storlie completing 4-of-9 passes.
Lanesboro finished with more total yards with 347, including 315 rushing. Niko Anderson rushed for 139 yards on 21 carries with a pair of touchdowns. Daulton Gartner had 79 yards on seven carries with a score, and Garrett Boggs added 64 yards on 18 rushes.
