STEWARTVILLE — The passing combination of Andrew Quandt and Nik Thiel clicked again on Friday as Stewartville rolled past La Crescent 45-24 in Southeast District, Red Subdistrict football on Friday.
Nik Thiel had five catches for 207 yards and two touchdowns. Thiel's TD grabs were both on deep passes from Quandt and covered 89 and 87 yards. He now has caught 13 touchdown passes this season.
Quandt completed 10 of 20 passes for 259 yards and two touchdowns.
Kaleb Hamlin had 15 carries for 114 yards and two TDs for the Tigers. He scored on runs of 2 and 3 yards. Carter Sveen had a 27-yard touchdown run for the Tigers.
Stewartville (4-1) had 512 total yards, 267 passing and 245 rushing.

La Crescent (0-5) had 276 total yards. Ty Mallicoat was 15-for-35 passing for 156 yards and two TDs.
Romy Whitford had six catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. Tristan Fuchsel had a 52-yard run on his only carry.
