DODGE CENTER — Ayrton Henderson had 17 carries for 202 yards and three touchdowns and the Triton defense had seven interceptions as the Cobras defeated La Crescent 43-6 in Hiawatha Valley League football on Friday.
Henderson scored on runs of 23, 72 and 14 yards. Justin Erdmann 13 carries for 71 yards and two TDs. He scored on runs of 2 and 3 yards.
Triton quarterback Cody Schaefer was 4-for-10 for 36 yards and 4-yard touchdown pass to Alex Head. Schaefer also had three interceptions and Patrick Ramirez had two.
Triton (4-2) had 366 total, including 330 on the ground.
Jake Panten had 22 carries for 151 yards rushing for La Crescent. The Lancers scored on a 9-yard pass from Austin DeBoer to Zack Melbostad. DoBoer was 5-for-21 for 29 yards and seven interceptions.
