NEW PRAGUE ––– Aaron Winkle drilled a game-winning, 23-yard field goal as time expired to spark Kasson-Mantorville to a 23-20 victory over New Prague.

Matt Donovan rushed 21 times for 114 yards and three touchdowns, and Anthony Moe-Tucker erupted for 129 rushing yards.

Donovan's 13-yard plunge in the second quarter tied the game at 6, and he gave the KoMets a 13-6 lead with a 5-yard touchdown run with 4:53 left in the third quarter.

New Prague tied the game 26 seconds later. But Donovan wasn't done yet. His 10-yard touchdown run sparked K-M to a 20-13 lead. But yet again, New Prague came back with a 76-yard touchdown with 2:04 left.

K-M marched right down the field to set up Winkle's game-winner. K-M finished with 333 rushing yards. Moe-Tucker and Donovan both eclipsed the century mark, and Jackson Kennedy finished with 12 carries for 91 yards.

K-M improved to 2-0.
