Four Rochester Community and Technical College wrestlers have qualified for the NJCAA National Wrestling Tournament.
The four earned their bids during the North Central District tournament held Sunday at Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids.
Earning national berths for RCTC were Aaron Niles at 141 pounds, Sam Schad at 149, Theo Jensen-Innis at 165 and Peter McPhail at 174.
"Overall I thought the guys wrestled very well," RCTC coach Randy Rager said. "These four guys are starting to peak and have really picked it up the last few weeks. They all have the opportunity and potential to be NJCAA All-Americans. Hopefully, they can put it all together both physically and mentally out in Spokane."
The 2011 NJCAA National Wrestling Tournament will be held on Feb. 25-26 in Spokane, Wash., and will be hosted by North Idaho.
