AUSTIN — Rochester Century continued its strong play, winning its fourth straight game as it slipped past Austin 65-63 in Big Nine Conference girls basketball Friday night.
The Panthers led 35-30 at halftime and had just enough to hang on for the win.
"It was a good high school game," Century coach Marcus Leloux said. "Austin is always a tough place to play. Both teams played hard but I am proud of the girls and how they worked together to win the game."
Sophomore forward Kiara Lindsey paved the way for Century with 28 points, including hitting a pair of 3-pointers.
Kendall Kupfer added 13 points for Century.

Austin got a big game from senior forward Shayley Vesel, with 25 points.
Austin slipped to 3-3 in the Big Nine and overall.
