MANKATO — Rochester Century won for the second time in three games Tuesday, knocking off Mankato West 71-63 in Big Nine Conference girls basketball.
The Panthers went into halftime trailing 34-29, then rallied.
"Our girls did a great job of executing the plays at the end of the game," Century coach Marcus Leloux said. "I'm very proud of our girls. It was a great road win."
Century got a balanced effort. Kendall Kupfer had 20 points, Kiara Lindsey 18 and Kristin Fleissner 15.
Century outscored West 18-11 at the free throw line.

The Panthers moved to 2-1 in the league and 3-2 overall. Mankato West is 0-1, 1-1.
Lexi Schoper had a game-high 31 points for West.
