Rochester Lourdes scored nearly all the points it would need for the win by halftime and beat La Crescent 67-31 in a non-conference girls basketball game Friday night at the Lourdes gym.

Three players scored in double figures to lead a balanced Lourdes attack, Katie Helt with 12 points, and Megan Hobday and Madison Berg with 11 each. The Eagles led 31-17 at halftime.

The game started slow for both teams but eventually we found some flow," said Lourdes coach Aaron Berg. "Our defense is coming along but we are really struggling with fouls when we play with pace."

Lourdes improved to 2-0 in non-conference play and has a tough non-conference game against Chatfield at 4 p.m. Saturday, the first game in a girls-boys varsity doubleheader. The Chatfield at Lourdes boys game is slated for 6 p.m.

"I hope we some left in the tank for (today)," Berg said.
