Girls Basketball | Lyle/Pacelli 64, Hope Lutheran 35

AUSTIN — Sarah Holtz had a double-double as Lyle/Pacelli rolled past Hope Lutheran 64-35 in Southeast Conference girls basketball on Friday.

Holtz had 24 points and 10 rebounds and she also collected five steals.

The Athletics used nice depth and a strong transition game to their advantage in the victory.

"(The) girls worked hard getting up and down the floor, which ended up creating a lot of points in transition," L/P coach Brad Walter said. "Having a rotation of nine girls really allowed us to put a lot of pressure on defense and wear them down."

Courtney Walter made four 3-pointers and chipped in with 14 points for L/P, which improved to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the SEC.
