Rockets lose fifth straight
OWATONNA — Rochester John Marshall gave a good push against Big Nine Conference co-leader Owatonna before losing 69-52 in a girls basketball game Tuesday night.
John Marshall trailed by just one point at halftime, 29-28, but couldn't keep its momentum in the second half.
It was the fifth straight loss for JM, which is now 4-15 overall and 4-8 in the conference. Owatonna improved to 11-7, 10-2 in the Big Nine.
