Girls basketball | P-E-M 71, Lourdes 42

PLAINVIEW — High-scoring Plainview-Elgin-Millville continued its winning ways with a 71-42 victory over Lourdes in non-conference girls basketball on Saturday.

P-E-M was coming off a 103-point scoring night on Friday. The Bulldogs received a 23-point performance from Sarah Hart and had four other players score between seven and nine points.

P-E-M, which led 37-29 at the half, has now won four straight games and is 11-3 on the season.

Katie Helt paced Lourdes with 14 points. The loss drops the Eagles to 8-5.
