Pine Island and Hayfield will play in the Hiawatha Valley League championship game in girls basketball on Monday.
Pine Island and Goodhue tied for the HVL Blue Division title with 10-2 marks. But Pine Island earned the berth in the league title game with a sweep over Goodhue during the regular season.
The Panthers will play at Hayfield at 7:30 p.m. Pine Island is in the title game for the second straight year while Hayfield, the HVL Gold winner with a 10-2 record, claimed its first division title in 20 years.
The Pine Island boys basketball team will host Lake City on Monday and the time of that game has been moved up to 6 p.m.
