AUSTIN — Century didn't take full advantage of its power-play chances and fell 6-4 to Austin in Big Nine Conference girls hockey Tuesday.
The Panthers had seven power-play chances, but got just one goal out of them.
Century was in the contest throughout. Austin led by a goal after the first two periods. The Panthers finished with a 35-34 edge in shots on goal. The Packers' final goal was an empty-netter.
"It was a hard-fought, physical game that went back and forth all night," Century coach Dan Maidl said.
Century got three goals from Katherine Aney and Jessica Aney had three assists.
