Win secures third place in Big 9
WINONA — The John Marshall/Lourdes girls hockey team ended its regular season on a winning note and halted a two-game losing skid with Saturday's 4-3 win over Winona at the Winona Bud Ice King Arena.
Winona had a 3-2 lead after two periods, but JM/Lourdes scored twice in the third period on goals by Savannah Seeger and Megan Dekutoski.
JM/Lourdes finished 13-9-2 overall and 9-7-2 in the Big Nine Conference, good for third place. JM/Lourdes avenged a 3-0 loss to Winona early in the season.
