Notes:"We were up on them 2-1 with 6 minutes to go and let this slip away from us," said D.C. head coach Jeremy Gunderson. "Special teams really hurt us today as we gave up a power play goal on a mistake, and we could finish on the chances we had. Both there late goals we gave them as easy turnovers by our defense in our zone."
