Lauren Ulsh had two goals, though Rochester Mayo still fell 22-3 to Apple Valley on Saturday in girls lacrosse.
Mayo coach Gary Tschann found things to like about his team's play despite the one-sided loss.
"Maddy Friedman stepped up her game and played well against Apple Valley's fast-break offense," Tschann said. "Hannah Poppen, Olivia Kemp and Ashley Weber contributed with strong minutes of field play."
Mayo is at Eagan on Tuesday.
