Girls Lacrosse | John Marshall/Lourdes rolls past Century

John Marshall/Lourdes scored 13 goals in the first half and rolled to a 17-3 win over Century in girls lacrosse on Friday.

Hanna Larson had four goals and two assists for JM/L and Sara Feldhusen had three goals and two assists.

"I was very happy with the way the girls moved the ball today and looked for scoring opportunities," JM/L coach Maureen Sanderson said. "Eleven players had goals and/or assists which was nice to see. Our defensive pressure all over the field was strong and the girls worked hard for every possession."

Reese DiCecco and Emma Krauss had two goals each for JM/L. The Rockets led 13-3 at the half.

"The Century girls looked stronger in the second half, bringing more defensive pressure and were able to connect on some nice passes in their transition game," Sanderson said. "I was impressed with their speed and determination right to the final whistle and happy that the JM/Lourdes players kept their intensity up and continued to fight for possessions on the 50-50 balls."
