Mayo played a stronger in the second half, but still was shutout by Farmington 5-0 in non-conference girls soccer Tuesday.
Farmington led 3-0 at halftime.
The Tigers' first three goals came off quick counter attacks with Mayo having lost the ball in the middle of the field.
Abby Goodman was in goal for Mayo and performed well.
"(Goodman) had some great saves that prevented a number of Farmington scoring chances throughout the game," Mayo coach Andre Bailey said. "Overall, Mayo improved greatly going into the second half and made the game a much closer match."
