Mahtomedi overcame an early 1-0 deficit to defeat Mayo 4-1 in girls soccer on Saturday.
Sarah Wade scored 18 minutes into the game, assisted by captain Gabby Laures, to give Mayo a 1-0 lead.
Mahtomedi scored two minutes later to tie the game and took the lead before the half ended. The visitors then scored twice in the second half to pull away.
Mahtomedi outshot Mayo 12-5 in a game that was played at a fast and physical pace.
